NXDN™ Forum Announces Further Member Expansion

Suwanee, GA – July 31, 2012 - The Chair of the NXDN™ Forum announced the addition of new members to the Forum.

Ten new members joined the NXDN™ Forum. These new member companies are; ARINC Inc., The Boeing Company, Catalyst Communications Technologies, Inc., Exacom, Inc., Hytera Communications Corporation Ltd., Raven Electronics Corporation, Swissphone Telecom AG, Twisted Pair Solutions, Inc, Wavecom Elektronic AG and Zetron, Inc.

With the addition of these new members, the NXDN™ Forum now has 29 member companies that further enhance the depth of versatility in products and services that will be provided on the NXDN™ platform.

The opening up of the NXDN™ standards suite will also encourage more industry leading companies to look at NXDN™ as their next generation communications solution as this technology further penetrates the market.

The NXDN™ Forum was established in July, 2008 with eight founding members including Kenwood Corporation, Icom Incorporated, Kenwood USA Corporation, Icom America Incorporated, Aeroflex Wichita Inc., Daniels Electronics Ltd., Ritron Inc. and Trident Datacom Technologies, Inc. d/b/a Trident Micro Systems. The Forum was established for the promotion of the NXDN™ digital air protocol for use with 6.25 kHz and 12.5 kHz narrowband technology.
